This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, safety-conscious warehouse professionals seeking stable, full-time employment within a busy logistics operation. Available Shifts Day Shift: Evening/Night Shift: The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, and storing goods while ensuring all orders are handled carefully and accurately.

The position combines forklift operation with general warehouse duties and requires excellent attention to detail, strong safety awareness and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Safely operate counterbalance forklifts, mechanised pallet trucks and other authorised warehouse equipment. Load and unload vehicles carefully and efficiently.

Move, organise and store goods safely within the warehouse. Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any faults or defects immediately. Assess loads before loading, unloading or moving them and report any identified risks.

Pick, pack, check and scan orders accurately. Complete all required warehouse paperwork and documentation. Report damaged goods, shortages, overages and other load discrepancies.

Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free working environment. Follow all manual-handling, PPE, health and safety requirements. Remain aware of colleagues and other personnel when operating mechanical equipment.

Support colleagues and supervisors in meeting daily operational requirements. Complete all required company training. Follow company policies, procedures, and safe working practices.

Essential Requirements A current Counterbalance Forklift licence. A current Mechanised Pallet Truck licence. Previous experience loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.

Experience working within a busy warehouse, freight or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements. A good accident and safety record.

Good spoken and written English. Excellent timekeeping and attendance. A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude.

Strong attention to detail. Satisfactory employment references. Desirable Requirements Reach Truck, Narrow Aisle or Combilift certification.

Previous freight, logistics or distribution experience. Good Distribution Practice (GDP) training. HACCP training.
