Overview Adecco is currently hiring a Financial Analyst for a full‑time opportunity in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting and financial analysis experience who enjoys working closely with operational teams and supporting business performance through detailed reporting and insights. Responsibilities Interpret financial operating results including production, royalties, and operating expenses and provide clear explanations Assist with monthly performance management reporting processes Perform monthly finance activities including accruals, cost allocations, journal entries, P&L analysis, and reconciliations Support SOX compliance processes and internal controls Act as a liaison between operational and finance teams to provide financial guidance and support Support budgeting and forecasting for the Conventional business unit Investigate and analyze disputed or audit‑related charges with joint venture partners Support long‑range planning, acquisitions, and new initiatives Identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities Cross‑train with other analysts within the finance team Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests and support special projects Qualifications Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Minimum 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience Oil and gas accounting or reporting experience required Professional accounting designation is an asset Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Experience with SAP and financial reporting systems Strong business and financial acumen Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities Ability to work independently and within a team environment Benefits Gain exposure to upstream financial and operational reporting Work closely with both finance and operational teams Opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives Competitive hourly compensation with overtime eligibility Work in a structured corporate finance environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
