Finance Manager

Rugby Farming Group is a large farming operation specialising in growing, packing and transporting fresh produce to both the domestic and export markets. With multiple locations throughout Queensland, we are looking for a motivated Finance Manager who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of finance management experience.

Prior agricultural or farming industry experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review of financial reporting and analysis of information.
• Delivery of reporting to the Executive and Board.
• Preparing budgets in conjunction with Executive Management.
• Collaborate with the business to identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive profitability as a member of the Senior Executive Team.
• Liaise and provide relevant information for external auditors and accountants.
• Lead a team and coach employees tasked with preparing financial information across Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Administration.
• Oversee BAS and Payroll Tax preparation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of team leadership experience is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting, budgeting and financial processes.
• Strong skills in Excel and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables is required.
• Proven ability to manage a team environment.
