Sailpoint Developer OR IAM Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SailPoint IdentityIQ Developer to join a leading enterprise organisation in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, delivering secure and scalable identity governance solutions within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions.
• Design and implement custom and out-of-the-box connectors including Web Services, SCIM, LDAP, and JDBC.
• Develop custom workflows, rules, reports, and integrations using SailPoint APIs.
• Perform application onboarding, access provisioning, and identity governance activities.
• Support production environments through incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Execute SailPoint upgrades, patch deployments, and system maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver IAM solutions aligned with security and compliance requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ).
• Proficiency in Java and BeanShell development.
• Experience developing and configuring SailPoint workflows, rules, and custom integrations.
• Strong knowledge of connector development including Web Services, SCIM, LDAP, and JDBC.
• Solid experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, build management, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Experience supporting IAM solutions within large and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SailPoint upgrades and migration projects.
• Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments.
