Job Description Field Technician (Installation & Service) Location: Baner, Pune, Maharashtra Type: Full-time | Field-based Experience: 1 to 3 years preferred About scanO At scanO, we're building the future of preventive dentistry with AI-powered oral health screening solutions. What matters to us is: Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ready to travel across India at short notice Responsible, professional, and customer-friendly Curious about electronics and how devices work Interested in learning hardware servicing and basic soldering (training provided) Comfortable working independently at client locations --- Your Role You will be the on-ground face of scanO, responsible for activating, installing, servicing, and supporting scanO air devices at customer locations. Note: Devices are shipped directly to customer locations via courier. Your responsibility is to reach the site, unbox, activate, configure, and ensure the device is fully operational. --- Key Responsibilities Visit customer locations to install and activate scanO air devices Unbox, assemble, configure, calibrate, and test the device Conduct a basic product walkthrough for clinic and hospital staff Perform preventive maintenance and on-site servicing when required Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues Learn and support basic repair work, including wire replacements and soldering Maintain installation and service reports Collect customer feedback after installation or service visits Coordinate with the Technical and Operations teams for advanced issues Support scanO roadshows, exhibitions, product demonstrations, and field events across India --- Requirements Prior experience in field service, hardware installation, technical support, or device servicing is preferred Comfortable with electronics, power connections, cables, ports, and basic system setup Interest in repairing and troubleshooting hardware devices Must own a smartphone; a two-wheeler is preferred Willingness to travel extensively across India Fluent in Hindi; basic English is preferred Customer-friendly with good communication skills --- What We Offer Fixed salary + Travel Allowance + Performance Incentives Complete on-the-job training, including hardware servicing and soldering Uniform, toolkit, and onboarding support Opportunity to grow into Technical Support, Operations, or Field Service leadership roles Work with cutting-edge AI technology transforming preventive healthcare Comfortable with electronics, power connections, cables, ports, and basic system setup Interest in repairing and troubleshooting hardware devices Must own a smartphone; a two-wheeler is preferred Willingness to travel extensively across India Fluent in Hindi; basic English is preferred Customer-friendly with good communication skills Fixed salary + Travel Allowance + Performance Incentives Complete on-the-job training, including hardware servicing and soldering Uniform, toolkit, and onboarding support Opportunity to grow into Technical Support, Operations, or Field Service leadership roles Work with cutting-edge AI technology transforming preventive healthcareRequirements
