About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Farm Supervisor to join our team based in Carisbrook, VIC. This key leadership role supports our daily farm operations and offers a 4‑day‑on / 4‑day‑off roster for excellent work‑life balance. As a Farm Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and welfare‑focused running of our poultry operations, leading and supporting a team to maintain high standards of bird health, biosecurity, safety, and productivity.

What We Offer

  • Base salary of $80,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience) plus nearby company house.
  • Full‑time permanent role on a 4 days on / 4 days off roster.
  • Shifts typically run from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, train and motivate your team of Shed supervisors.
  • Support the Farm Manager in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of poultry farm activities.
  • Conduct daily team meetings and perform regular checks of staff performance and farm conditions.
  • Monitor and review data collection to identify issues and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with OHS policies, promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability among staff.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on animal welfare and productivity.
  • Assist in managing bird growing requirements, maintaining high standards of farm presentation and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in poultry farming.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HSE policies and a commitment to a strong safety culture.
  • Good practical farm maintenance abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Confidence to lead and facilitate meetings.
  • Certificate III Poultry Production (desirable).
  • Certificate IV Leadership and Management (desirable).
