Equity Research Analyst – FinTech Location: Gurgaon / New Delhi (Fully Remote) No US-based candidates will be considered. The FINTECH PARTNERS® Global Operations team extends our research and data operations capabilities by providing highly specialized operational support across all of these areas. This includes gathering and validating financial data, conducting real-time market surveillance, synthesizing competitive intelligence, and managing critical inputs for our investment banking processes. By streamlining the flow of high-quality information, FINTECH PARTNERS® Global Operations enable the Firm to deliver sharper insights, faster execution, and deeper analysis — reinforcing our leadership in the global financial technology space.

Our Global Operations Team: Leverages world class data collection and analysis techniques Identifies and analyzes key market and industry trends impacting the financial technology landscape Tracks key events and conferences within the financial technology community Generates primary research using proprietary data and market insights Publishes world class research deep dives into the financial technology market ecosystem Role Summary We are seeking a motivated Equity Research Analyst to join our growing research team, working remotely from Gurgaon or New Delhi. This is a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to the global FinTech ecosystem while contributing to a differentiated research product at the leading FinTech-focused investment bank. The Analyst will work closely with the equity research and investment banking teams to produce high-quality, actionable research including financial modeling, industry analysis, and thematic writing.

Key Responsibilities Research & Analysis Support coverage of FinTech companies and industry subsectors across payments, lending, insurtech, wealthtech, and banking infrastructure Build and maintain financial models including earnings forecasts, DCF valuations, and comparable company analyses Conduct in-depth company and sector research using public filings, proprietary data, and third-party sources Analyze market, competitive, and regulatory trends that influence investment outlooks Draft research reports, investment summaries, and thematic pieces for internal and institutional audiences Collaboration & Support Work closely with US-based equity research and investment banking colleagues across time zones Prepare materials for client meetings, conferences, and industry events Assist with data gathering, benchmarking, and maintaining proprietary research databases Respond to ad-hoc research requests with accuracy and speed Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA candidacy a plus. Experience: 1–3 years in equity research, investment banking, consulting, or asset management preferred.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Strong understanding of financial modeling, accounting, and valuation methodologies Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar platforms a plus Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and ability to distill complex data into clear insights Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable operating in a high-performance, remote environment Genuine interest in and curiosity about the global FinTech landscape Why Join FT Partners?
