Job Description

Purpose of the role Cover the 40+ Tadawul stock portfolio and 50+ large-cap watchlist, conducting fundamental analysis, earnings tracking, and sector research across Saudi Arabia’s public equity market. Two analysts split coverage: Analyst 1 covers banking (40% of Tadawul market cap) and financial services; Analyst 2 covers materials, industrials, telecoms, healthcare, and consumer sectors. Both analysts use the AI Lab’s automated DuPont analysis, screening tools, and earnings tracking capabilities.

Key responsibilities Maintain fundamental coverage models (DCF, relative valuation, DuPont decomposition) for 20–25 Tadawul stocks each, updated quarterly with reported financials. Track quarterly earnings releases for all covered stocks: actual vs consensus analysis, guidance changes, and material developments. Produce IC memoranda for buy/sell/hold recommendations on individual stocks, supported by AI Lab quantitative analytics.

Use AI Lab automated DuPont analysis to identify margin drivers, asset efficiency changes, and leverage shifts across the portfolio and watchlist. Monitor CMA regulatory announcements, corporate actions, rights issues, and IPO pipeline relevant to covered sectors. Track local and international broker research for covered stocks: synthesise consensus views and identify contrarian opportunities.

Analyse Saudi macroeconomic data (oil prices, government spending, non-oil GDP, consumer confidence) and assess impact on covered sectors. Maintain the KSA equity knowledge base: all company reports, broker research, CMA filings, and analyst models ingested into the Document Intelligence Engine. Contribute to the quarterly KSA equity heat map dashboard showing sector performance, DuPont metrics, and relative valuation across the Tadawul universe.

Qualifications and experience 3–5 years of equity research or buy-side equity analysis experience, preferably covering MENA/GCC markets. Strong fundamental analysis skills: DCF modelling, relative valuation, and financial statement analysis. Deep understanding of the Saudi economy: Vision 2030 initiatives, sector dynamics, regulatory environment, CMA regulations.

Proficiency in Excel and financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Tadawul data feeds). CFA Level II+ or equivalent qualification preferred. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting.

The ability to read and interpret Arabic-language financial statements and regulatory filings is a strong advantage.
