Entry-Level Bookkeeper

Responsibilities Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring proper debits and credits in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by verifying invoices, processing payments, and managing customer or vendor account details Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Assist in payroll processing by maintaining employee records and ensuring timely payroll submissions Generate basic financial reports and summaries to aid senior accountants in financial report writing and analysis

Experience Prior experience or internship in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is preferred but not required; strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems is highly desirable Basic understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting Knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data management and analysis is important Exposure to financial standards like GAAP or non-profit accounting practices is a plus Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation tasks such as bank reconciliation and account analysis with accuracy Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as an Entry-Level Bookkeeper and become an integral part of a team dedicated to maintaining impeccable financial records while advancing your career in accounting.
