About the Role

We're a growing hospitality group currently operating three restaurants (Roscioli NYC, Tokyo Record Bar, Pearl Box), with a fourth opening soon. We're looking for a hands-on HR Manager to own the people function across our venues including building the systems and standards that let our teams do their best work.

Responsibilities:

  • Own HR compliance, including labor law, wage-and-hour, and workplace policy across multiple entities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle across all venues: recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Administer payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, and PTO tracking
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations
  • Partner with venue managers on staffing plans, scheduling standards, and performance management
  • Develop and maintain consistent HR policies, handbooks, and training across locations
  • Support the opening of new venues, including staffing ramp-up and onboarding at scale

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in hospitality, retail, or another multi-location, hourly-workforce environment
  • Working knowledge of NY (and federal) employment law and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payroll
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment handling sensitive matters
  • Highly organized, able to juggle competing priorities across multiple sites
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
