English-to-Hindi Translator – eLearning Content

We are looking for an experienced English-to-Hindi Translator to support the translation and localization of corporate eLearning content.

The role requires more than direct word-for-word translation. The translator should be able to retain the original meaning, tone, context, and learning intent while ensuring that the Hindi content sounds natural and is suitable for voice-over and digital learning formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate eLearning scripts(related to Cyber Security, Data Privacy and Compliance training content) from English to Hindi.
• Translate on-screen text, narration, scenarios, dialogues, instructions, quizzes, and feedback messages.
• Ensure that the translated content is grammatically correct, culturally appropriate, and easy to understand.
• Adapt translations for spoken Hindi and voice-over requirements.
• Maintain consistency in terminology, tone, and style across modules.
• Review and proofread translated content before submission.
• Work with instructional designers, content developers and animators to resolve translation-related queries.
• Follow project-specific glossaries, style guides, templates, and formatting requirements.
• Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
• Ensure that the translation retains the learning objectives and intended meaning of the original content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in English and Hindi, including written and spoken Hindi.
• Excellent Hindi grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and proofreading skills.
• Previous experience in English-to-Hindi translation.
• Ability to write natural, conversational Hindi suitable for narration and voice-over.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.
• Ability to understand corporate, compliance, behavioural, or workplace-related content.
• Good time-management skills and the ability to work with multiple files and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating eLearning courses, training modules, video scripts, or instructional content.
• Familiarity with corporate learning, compliance training, POSH, workplace conduct, cybersecurity, or related subjects.
• Experience working with voice-over scripts and reviewing recorded Hindi audio.
• Familiarity with translation glossaries, pronunciation guides, and localization processes.
• Prior experience working with an eLearning development company or learning and development team.

Contract Details

• Contract period: 3 months.
• Work will be assigned based on project requirements.
• The candidate must be available for regular coordination and timely revisions during the contract period.
• Payment terms will be discussed based on experience, availability, and scope of work.
