What You’ll Work On
- Lead, coach, mentor, and grow a team of Squad and Engineering Managers and the broader engineering organization.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the required engineering artifacts and processes for every product and project, including Sprint and iteration execution plans with clear visibility into planned work and archived key architectural decisions.
- Provide timely, accurate, and transparent project status reporting, including burndown charts, critical path analysis, percentage completeness, and milestone progress, at end-of-sprint, key milestones, and feature readiness gates.
- Run or facilitate feature review and approval meetings at the end of each sprint and milestone to demonstrate progress and launch readiness.
- Proactively surface date, feature, quality trade-offs, and drive timely alignment with Product Management.

- Ensure consistent execution of deployment safety practices, on-call rotations, and operational processes.
- Implement and enforce secure-by-design processes, compliance requirements, threat‑modeling evidence, and coordination protocols before production changes via feature flags and release holds.
- Partner closely with Product Management on roadmap feasibility, prioritization input, trade‑off decisions, and rapid experimentation, while clearly owning the "how we deliver" and execution transparency.
- Collaborate with technical leadership such as System Architects and Tech Leads on architecture and infrastructure topics as needed for planning and risk management.
- Work effectively with CIO and Technical Enablement teams when platform decisions impact delivery.
