Dynamics Consultant (Houston)

Overview We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Platform Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. This role will lead technical strategy, oversee platform governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing business applications. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (CRM, CE, Finance & Operations, or hybrid environments) Serve as the technical SME for the Dynamics 365 platform, including integrations, customizations, and extensions Oversee platform governance, security, and environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod) Manage and mentor a team of developers, administrators, and functional consultants Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using APIs, Azure services, and middleware tools Drive CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevOps best practices Ensure system performance, reliability, and data integrity across environments Stay current on Microsoft roadmap, updates, and emerging technologies within the Dynamics ecosystem Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE, F&O, or both) Strong hands-on experience with: Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus) Dataverse and data modeling Experience with custom development using: C#, .NET, JavaScript, and plugins Proven experience leading technical teams or projects Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data architecture Experience with DevOps tools and deployment pipelines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure) Experience with enterprise-scale implementations Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience in industries such as Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing Key Skills Solution Architecture Platform Governance Integration Design Team Leadership Stakeholder Management Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking Nice to Have Experience with ISV solutions and AppSource apps Data migration and upgrade experience Familiarity with AI Builder, Copilot, or advanced Power Platform capabilities
