Job Description

Director of Sales | HealthTech SaaS | Mental Health | Hybrid NYC | $160K–$200K Base + Competitive Equity

Intalex is partnered with a fast‑growing HealthTech SaaS company that is hiring a Director of Sales to help scale its commercial team during a period of rapid expansion.

They build a platform that helps schools provide faster and easier access to mental health care for children and teenagers by connecting schools, families and licensed therapists. This is a strategic Director of Sales role that leads ~8 Account Executives while playing an integral part in building and improving the company's sales organisation as it expands into new markets.

Responsibilities and Mandates with the Executive Leadership Team:

  • Refine sales processes, develop and launch new go‑to‑market strategies, coach the team and help scale the commercial function – ~70 % leadership / 30 % strategic Individual Contributor.
  • Manage Account Executives in an early‑stage SaaS business.
  • Sell into K‑12 school districts, working with senior education leaders responsible for student wellbeing and district operations.
  • Hybrid – SoHo, New York City (3 days per week in‑office).

Qualifications

  • Experience managing Account Executives in an early‑stage SaaS business.
  • Track record of building or improving sales processes, solving problems and thriving in startup environments.
  • Looking for genuine ownership, the opportunity to influence GTM strategy and the chance to make a meaningful social impact.

Benefits and Opportunities

  • Join a high‑growth startup with significant commercial momentum.
  • Shape the future sales organisation rather than inherit an established playbook.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and exert real influence over sales strategy.
  • Build a career while improving access to mental health care for students across the US.
  • Compensation: $160K–$200K base + competitive equity.
