About the Role The Financial & Spend ML/Experience team at Workday is responsible for the architecture and development of the machine learning services powering a range of applications in the financial domain.
Our work blends large-scale data processing, battle-hardened machine learning methodology, and microservice design with craftsmanship at the forefront. Built on startup DNA, we operate with autonomy and strong ownership. You will be responsible for building and integrating sleek, beautiful user experiences on top of extensive datasets.
You have experience in enterprise software and SaaS-based apps, and you understand how to build high-fidelity visualizations. You know how to communicate ambitious problems and solutions to business leaders and large development teams. You also enjoy collaboration, mentoring other developers, and working with designers and other specialists in planning, prioritizing, and execution to completion.
Represent our organization in meetings with executives and effectively debate/explain positions and issues cohesively. About You Basic Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience working with UI designs and a BS or MS in CS or Engineering 5+ years of proven experience as a lead UI developer and architect Other Qualifications Web development experience (e.g., React/Redux, J2EE, Node.js) Hands-on experience with web graphics technologies like Canvas, SVG, and WebGL Experience implementing new techniques and methods into commercial software Experience supporting large-scale, critically important systems Strong verbal and written communication Interested in stepping up to help lead our team to the next level of user experience Compensation & Benefits Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. As part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for bonuses, stock grants, and other benefits. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process.
