Job Description:

IT Transversal & Functions (ITTF) is a global IT framework within BNP Paribas that integrates Finance and RISK projects and systems, bringing together a community of 2,500 experts across Finance, RISK, and IT backgrounds. Built on efficiency, proximity, agility, and time-to-market, this organizational model addresses the Group’s digital transformation by continuously introducing new technologies and industry best practices.

Operating as a unique partnership between central IT and the Finance and RISK divisions, ITTF features the Risk Dedicated Solutions department, which delivers specialized tools for risk reporting workflows. Within this structure, the Risk Reporting & Analytics team provides end-to-end support for the creation, maintenance, and evolution of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, enabling RISK teams to generate strategic dashboards covering credit and counterparty risk.

Main Tasks:

• Design high-performance data pipelines (ETL) to feed a DWH using state of the art data engineering techniques according to business specifications;
• Implement flow automation through CI / CD pipelines and end-to-end release of artifacts across environments;
• Design data models and schemas as well as providing architectural guidance and recommendations according to traditional BI best practices;
• Provide end-users with support on the handling of Dataiku and Tableau, with support on the implementation of best practices;
• Coach and guidance towards junior team members, as well as stakeholders.

Technical skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Intelligence or other relevant area;
• Relevant professional experience as a data engineer is mandatory (5 - 7 years);
• Knowledge of ETL and / or ELT data integration processes (Alteryx or Talend, for example) is mandatory;
• Proficiency in SQL is mandatory;
• Proficiency in Python and / or PySpark is mandatory;
• Proficiency in Apache Nifi, Dataiku and / or Tableau is a plus;
• Previous banking experience is a plus;
• Knowledge of credit risk is a plus;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and JIRA is a plus;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
