Data Analyst

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1200000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 12-20 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 3–5 years of experience and a strong foundation in Machine Learning. In this role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights and build predictive models that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance business performance.

Requirements Key Responsibilities: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business outcomes Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models for prediction, classification, and clustering tasks Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure high-quality outputs Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions Design and build dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed to maintain accuracy and relevance Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate the impact of business strategies Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across all data sources Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and data analytics techniques Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, with hands-on experience in machine learning Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch Solid understanding of statistical analysis, probability, and data modeling techniques Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms Familiarity with data cleaning, transformation, and ETL processes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Exposure to deep learning techniques and NLP is a plus Understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing concepts
