Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong focus on advanced SQL and core analytics. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in data querying, data analysis, and deriving actionable insights. This role is not suited for profiles primarily focused on dashboard development (Power BI/Tableau Developers).

Key Responsibilities: Perform complex data analysis using advanced SQL queries. Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to generate business insights. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability. Conduct data validation, data quality checks, and ensure data integrity. Support data-driven decision-making through detailed analysis and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering and business teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in advanced SQL (mandatory). Strong expertise in writing complex queries, joins, window functions, and performance tuning.

Solid understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and data manipulation techniques. Experience working with large datasets in a structured environment. Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.

Good to Have: Basic exposure to any dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau (secondary skill only). Understanding of business analytics and reporting frameworks. Important Notes: This role is not suitable for Power BI Developers or Tableau Developers with a primary focus on dashboarding.

Candidates must be currently based in Bangalore . This is a 5-day work-from-office role at the client location.
