Compensation from $30 per hour/$90 per session
Start Date September 13, 2025
Key Responsibilities
- Teach dance to students aged 6–16 in weekly classes (work available Saturdays in Kanata and Wednesdays in Barrhaven)
- Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons in dance skills
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages self-expression and growth
- Collaborate with singing and drama teachers to support ensemble and performance goals
- Assist in choreographing end-of-term performances and showcases
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or directing children and youth in dance and/or musical theatre
- Background in dance performance (education or professional)
- Energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with young people
- Ability to manage and inspire students of varying ages and experience levels
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- French not required
