Cyber Security Consultant

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant with 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity

consulting, technical presales, or security engineering. The ideal candidate will work closely

with customers, sales teams, and technology partners to understand security requirements,

recommend suitable solutions, conduct technical demonstrations, and support solution

design activities. The role requires strong knowledge of modern cybersecurity technologies,

excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into

effective security architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Solution Consulting

• Engage with customers to understand business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Recommend cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer objectives and security strategies.
• Conduct technical discussions, product demonstrations, and solution presentations.
• Design security architectures and prepare solution recommendations.
• Support Proof of Concepts (POCs), technical evaluations, and customer workshops.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the sales and solution lifecycle.

Solution Design & Documentation

• Prepare solution designs, architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and scope documents.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and technical compliance requirements.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and solution recommendations.
• Create customer presentations, technical documentation, and implementation recommendations.

Security Technology Expertise

The candidate should possess working knowledge and consulting experience in the

following domains:

• Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Security Service Edge (SSE)
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Email Security
• Cloud Security Fundamentals
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response Concepts

Collaboration & Vendor Management

• Work closely with sales teams to support customer opportunities and solution positioning.
• Coordinate with OEMs and technology partners for technical support and solution alignment.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and technology roadmaps.
• Participate in internal technical enablement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security Consulting, Technical Presales, Security Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, security architecture, and industry best practices.
• Good knowledge of Endpoint Security, DLP, SSE, Email Security, and Cloud Security solutions.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, Proxy, SSL/TLS, and authentication protocols.
• Ability to gather customer requirements and translate them into security solutions.
• Strong presentation, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer engagements.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.
