Location: East Belfast
Salary: £17.05 per hour
Permanent, Full-Time
Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 15:30
Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to join a busy and professional catering operation in East Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Chef Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional service while leading a successful kitchen team. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with no evening or weekend work, operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:30.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen and catering service
- Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality food and service standards
- Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- Monitor food costs and work within budgetary requirements
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety and company procedures
- Plan and deliver varied, nutritious menus
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage staffing levels, rotas and training requirements
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef or in a senior catering management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience managing budgets, stock control and food costs
- Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Strong organisational and communication skills
