Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Branch Manager(Direct Channel) located in Chennai.
The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, including sales, customer service, and administration. Responsibilities include leading and motivating a team of insurance consultants, achieving sales targets, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires managing branch profitability, monitoring performance metrics, and driving operational excellence in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications Leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving targets. Strong sales and business development skills for driving revenue growth and expanding customer base. Customer relationship management skills to deliver excellent service and maintain long-term client partnerships.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to monitor performance metrics and implement operational improvements. Knowledge of the life insurance industry, products, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred. Proven experience in managing branch operations or a leadership role in the insurance or financial services sector.
