City Operations Manager Role Overview: We are looking for a City Operations Manager who has a strong understanding of the Kolkata market and proven experience in managing on-ground operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily city-level operations, optimizing fleet performance, and driving efficiency through strategic hub placements. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee end-to-end city operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution. • Develop strategies for hub expansion and identify optimal locations for new hubs. • Monitor and optimize fleet operations to ensure maximum productivity and utilization. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for deployment, performance tracking, and issue resolution. • Maintain strong relationships with local vendors, partners, and stakeholders. • Analyze city performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective measures. • Ensure compliance with operational standards, safety norms, and company policies.
Requirements: • 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in fleet, logistics, or last-mile operations. • Strong knowledge of the Kolkata geography and local market dynamics. • Familiarity with dark store locations and operational networks across the city. • Excellent planning, execution, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and team management abilities. • Proficiency in using MS Excel, dashboards, and basic analytics tools. • Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in e-commerce, mobility, logistics, or delivery-based startups will be given preference.
