Job Description
LOCATION- Bangalore(May have to travel on requirement to other locations outside BLR)
EXPERIENCE- 2-5 years in Corporate Interior fit-out
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the entire MEP project life cycle including shop drawings approvals, procurement follow-ups, execution and testing & commissioning.
- Work closely with Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed within timelines.
- Responsible for vetting all MEP shop drawings & facilitating in approvals from consultants.
- Responsible for all panel inspections/CEIG documentation & quality control for MEP trade packages
- Ensure all dependencies are planned well in advance with the project manager & provide full support to the C&I team.
- Interfaces directly with client keeping project manager in confidence for all MEP related aspects.
- Support & facilitate project manager with inputs for all weekly meetings.
- Act as a shadow project manager & ready to take over the duties of the project manager in case of any exigencies.
- Ensure all documentation as per Company's standards are followed for MEP trade packages starting from installation checklist, material inspection reports, EHS, labelling/tagging & all inspection reports.
- Solely responsible for testing & commissioning activity for the assigned project
- Responsible for handing over documentation for all MEP trade packages & support project manager in close-out.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E Electrical/Mechanical) or higher from a university in a relevant area of study.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
- Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills
Other skills:
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices a must
