Assistant Manager / Manager โ€“ HR Operations Location: Chennai Experience: 7โ€“12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Joining Preference: Immediate Joiners Preferred Role Summary We are seeking an experienced and process-oriented HR Operations professional to lead and manage end-to-end HR operations, employee lifecycle management, compliance, HR systems, reporting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HR Operations with exposure to US Mortgage Recruitment processes, employee documentation, HR analytics, process improvements, and stakeholder management. The role requires driving operational excellence while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a superior employee experience.

Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and offboarding. Ensure accurate employee documentation and maintenance of employee records. Oversee attendance, leave management, HRIS administration, and payroll coordination.

Drive HR policy implementation and process governance. Recruitment Operations Support Collaborate with recruitment teams to streamline hiring processes. Support workforce planning and hiring governance.

Exposure to US Mortgage Recruitment processes will be an added advantage. Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to statutory and labor compliance requirements. Manage HR audits and documentation readiness.

Support POSH, disciplinary processes, and employee grievance handling. Maintain compliance dashboards and trackers. HR Analytics & Reporting Prepare HR MIS reports and leadership dashboards.

Analyze key HR metrics including: Headcount Attrition Hiring Attendance Employee Engagement Productivity Metrics Generate actionable insights for management decision-making. Process Excellence & Automation Drive HR process improvements and standardization. Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.

Enhance employee experience through continuous improvement initiatives. Team Management Lead and mentor HR Operations team members. Drive performance management and capability development.

Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational excellence. Qualifications & Skills Mandatory Requirements 7โ€“12 years of overall HR experience. Strong experience in HR Operations.

Exposure to US Mortgage Recruitment environment preferred. Experience in handling HRMS/HRIS platforms. Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.

Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Dashboards, Reporting). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in managing teams and driving operational efficiencies. Preferred Qualifications MBA / Master's Degree in Human Resources. Experience working in a fast-paced service or mortgage industry environment.
