Job Title: Bids and Proposal Manager Experience: 2β8 Years Location: Fully Remote Employment Type: Full-time Industry: IT / Software / Technology Services About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bids and Proposal Manager to support our business development and sales teams in preparing high-quality proposals, RFP responses, financial proposals, and client-facing business documents. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in the IT, software, or technology industry, with a strong understanding of software products, licensing, services, and solution-based proposals. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Business Development and Sales teams to prepare proposals, RFP responses, RFIs, presentations, and commercial documents.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs for technical, functional, financial, and commercial sections of proposals. Prepare financial proposals, pricing summaries, effort estimates, and commercial response documents. Review client requirements and ensure proposals are complete, accurate, professional, and submitted within timelines.
Maintain proposal templates, company profiles, case studies, capability documents, and standard response content. Support business development activities including client presentations, solution notes, and sales documentation. Track proposal status, deadlines, submissions, clarifications, and follow-ups.
Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, language, and messaging across all proposal documents. Required Skills and Experience 2β8 years of experience in bids, proposals, presales, sales support, or business development support roles. Experience in the IT, software, technology services, or consulting industry is mandatory.
Good understanding of software products, software licensing, IT services, managed services, and technology solution proposals. Strong written communication and documentation skills. Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into structured proposal responses.
Good coordination skills and ability to work with sales, technical, delivery, finance, and leadership teams. Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work under deadlines. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and proposal documentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in responding to government, enterprise, or international RFPs. Exposure to GRC, ERP, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise software proposals will be an added advantage. Experience in preparing pricing models, BOMs, commercial proposals, and service estimates.
