Data Modeler

Role: Data Modeller Location: India/Remote Type: Contract Job Description :Required Qualifications & Skill sExperience & Educatio n• 9+ years of experience in data modeling for enterprise data platforms • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or similar lakehouse architectures • Experience supporting commercial / enterprise-scale data lake or lakehouse solutions .Technical Skill s• Strong expertise in dimensional data modeling (facts, dimensions, conformed dimensions) • Experience designing logical and physical data models across medallion layers • Solid understanding of data warehousing and lakehouse concepts • Proficiency in data mapping, business rule interpretation, and transformation logic • Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and data governance practices • Familiarity with SQL and analytical data structures for reporting and BI tools .Analytical & Collaboration Skill s• Ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, structured data models • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration skills • Attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and scalability • Ability to work independently while aligning with architectural and governance standards .Documentation & Communicatio n• Strong documentation skills for models, lineage, and data definitions • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders .
