Principal Consultant - CFD

WE ARE HIRING! Design Confidence is looking for a Principal Consultant – Computational Fluid Dynamics to join our Kochi office and support our Middle East projects. This is not a back-office role.

This is a leadership role for someone who understands CFD beyond just running models. We are looking for someone who can lead advanced fire and smoke modelling studies, guide teams, review complex analysis, and communicate confidently with project teams, clients, and authorities. The role will support major projects across the region, including stadiums, arenas, transport, mixed-use developments, high-rise buildings, and large public assembly projects.

What we are looking for: Strong experience in fire and smoke CFD analysis Ability to lead technical reviews and guide engineers Good understanding of fire life safety design and performance-based engineering Experience with tools such as FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder, Smokeview, or similar Clear communication and report-writing skills Ability to work with Middle East project teams and delivery expectations Location: Kochi, India Company: Design Confidence Role: Principal Consultant – Computational Fluid Dynamics This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing specialist fire engineering consultancy, working on some of the most exciting projects in the region.
