The Role As Assistant General Manager – Sales , you will own revenue generation for assigned micro-markets and build a high-performing sales organization around you. You will directly work with the Founder and play a critical role in scaling Maxim’s sales engine. This is a high-visibility leadership role with significant ownership and autonomy.
What You Will Own Revenue Leadership Drive primary residential sales revenue across assigned Bangalore micro-markets Build predictable and scalable sales pipelines Personally engage in strategic closures and large customer opportunities Improve overall sales conversion and team productivity metrics Build Teams From Ground Zero Hire and build a team of high-performing sales professionals from scratch Recruit, train, mentor, and develop top talent Build a culture of accountability, intensity, execution discipline, and customer obsession Establish operating rhythms, review mechanisms, and performance management systems People Leadership Lead teams of 5-10 sales professionals while maintaining exceptionally high standards Coach teams on consultative selling, objection handling, customer psychology, and deal closure Develop future sales leaders within the organization Create a winning culture built around performance and ownership Market Ownership Develop deep expertise across assigned Bangalore micro-markets Track market trends, launches, pricing shifts, competition, and customer demand patterns Build relationships with leading developers and ecosystem stakeholders Become Maxim’s market intelligence engine for your assigned territory Developer Ecosystem Management Build strong working relationships with leading residential developers Strengthen channel partner ecosystem relationships Understand inventory movement, pricing strategy, launch pipeline, and developer expectations Identify strategic opportunities for market expansion and partnerships Technology, Data & Modern Sales Execution Use CRM, automation, dashboards, and technology to improve productivity Track every important metric across lead generation, funnel conversion, sales productivity, and revenue forecasting Use AI and technology tools to improve customer engagement and sales execution Bring modern thinking into an industry still operating on outdated methods What We Are Looking For Experience 3–5 years of experience in primary residential real estate sales Must have experience selling directly for a developer, brokerage, or channel partner network Proven experience leading teams of at least 5 people Demonstrated success in consistently delivering strong revenue outcomes Strongly Preferred Existing relationships with Bangalore developers and builder ecosystem Deep understanding of Bangalore micro-markets and residential supply dynamics Experience building sales teams from scratch Experience managing both pre-sales and field sales teams The Kind Of Person Who Will Succeed Here We care deeply about mindset.
