Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Role: Manager, FP&A Location: Vancouver, BC (fully on site with travel required) Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 I'm excited to be partnering with a growing mining organization on the search for an FP&A Manager to join their team during an exciting period of expansion. This is a highly visible, sole contributor role suited for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while partnering closely with senior leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial planning and strategic decision-making across multiple operating mines in Mexico.

Key responsibilities include: • Leading the annual budgeting process for operating mine sites and preparing regular forecasts • Developing robust financial models in MS Excel to support strategic initiatives and business decisions • Delivering insightful analysis and presenting recommendations to executive leadership • Building executive-level dashboards, KPI reporting, and financial presentation decks • Partnering with operations leaders to understand performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement • Driving process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and decision support capabilities • Preparing ad hoc analyses related to production, costs, and operational performance What we're looking for: • Proven FP&A experience, ideally within the mining, natural resources, or other operationally intensive industries • Advanced MS Excel skills with demonstrated experience building complex financial models from the ground up • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial insights to executives and non-financial stakeholders • Experience creating dashboards and executive reporting packages • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization • Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to operating mine sites in Mexico
