Job Description

Position Title: Lead- System Admin. Experience Required : 7 to 10+ years of experience in Application Deployment, System Administration, and Infrastructure Support. Minimum 2+ years of experience in handling Production Application Environments.

Experience in managing enterprise applications in Windows and Linux environments. Preferred Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE) Docker / Kubernetes Certification (Preferred) ITIL Foundation Certification Azure DevOps or CI/CD related certifications (Preferred) Roles and Responsibilities : Application Deployment & Management : Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain enterprise applications in Production, UAT, and Development environments Handle application installation, upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments Monitor application availability, uptime, and performance Troubleshoot application-related issues and coordinate with development teams for resolution Ensure smooth application rollout with minimum downtime Web Application & Server Administration : Manage IIS, NGINX, and Apache Web Servers Host and support applications built on: .NET Framework / .NET Core Java-based applications (Tomcat/WebLogic if applicable) Python applications (Flask/Django) Configure SSL certificates, virtual hosts, reverse proxy, and load balancing Optimize web and application server performance Container & Cloud Management Deploy and manage Docker containers in Windows and Linux environments Support Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, storage, networking, and monitoring Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized applications Support cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure deployment activities Windows & Linux Administration Manage Windows Server and Linux Server environments Perform server patching, security hardening, upgrades, and maintenance activities Ensure server health, availability, and performance optimization Handle storage, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services Monitoring, Backup & Maintenance Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus Monitor application logs, server health, and infrastructure alerts Manage backup operations and disaster recovery procedures Ensure SLA compliance and proactive issue resolution Incident & Problem Management Handle L2/L3 troubleshooting for production application and infrastructure issues Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents Coordinate with network, security, and development teams during outages or deployment activities Maintain incident records and technical documentation Automation & Documentation Automate deployment and maintenance tasks using PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or DevOps tools Create and maintain SOPs, deployment documents, and operational runbooks Support CI/CD deployment pipelines and release management processes Required Technical Skills : Mus t Have Skills : IIS Web Server Management NGINX / Apache Web Server Administration Application Deployment & Troubleshooting Kubernetes Administration (AKS / On-Prem Clusters) CI/CD Tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI) .NET / Java / Python application hosting support Docker Container Management Microsoft Azure Administration Active Directory (AD DS, GPO Management) DNS, DHCP, SSL Certificate Management Monitoring, Backup, and Patch Management Incident Management & RCA Handling Good to Have Skills : Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022) Linux Server Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) PowerShell & Shell Scripting DevOps Toolchain Knowledge VMware / Hyper-V Virtualization Sophos Firewall or Enterprise Firewall Knowledge Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM Templates) Cloud Security & System Hardening Practices Key Competencies Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Experience in managing production environments Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents Understanding of ITIL processes and change management Team handling and coordination capability (preferred)
