Your Role Service Line: Neurological Complex Care Rehabilitation Service Role Summary Post: Band 6 Occupational Therapist (18‑24 month development post) Site: The Daley Centre Salary: up to £49,330 (dependent on experience) Hours: 40 Hours (Part time working will be considered) Contract: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities & Development Programme Enhanced clinical supervision from an experienced neurorehabilitation Occupational Therapist. Access to specialist training in neurological rehabilitation.
Development in therapeutic handling. Formal training in assessment and intervention for prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDoC). Opportunities to work alongside experienced physiotherapy colleagues within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation model.
Leadership and service development experience to support progression into a specialist Band 7 role. This is an exciting time to join the Daley Centre as we continue to develop and strengthen our occupational therapy provision within neurological rehabilitation. We are looking for an ambitious Occupational Therapist who is passionate about service development, clinical leadership, and delivering meaningful rehabilitation outcomes for individuals with complex neurological needs.
Flexible and part‑time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate. The Daley Care Centre Location: Sheffield, S36 2QE. The Daley Care Centre is a specialist Neurological Complex Care service dedicated to supporting individuals with high nursing needs, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and complex neurological conditions.
Our dedicated team of registered nurses, support workers, and in‑house therapists work together to deliver comprehensive care and support with measurable outcomes. Patient Support: Severe or moderate Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Other neurological conditions, stroke, and spinal injuries Early or late post‑injury, long‑term, short‑term, respite, and lifelong care Tracheostomy and ventilator care Support for individuals with complex needs and behaviours (assessed individually) The centre features 24 spacious bedrooms, each with an en‑suite wet room. It has recently been refurbished with modern facilities including a gym for physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions, an Independent Living Skills Kitchen, and dedicated therapy rooms.
Located in the tranquil countryside just 10 minutes outside Sheffield city centre. Occupational Therapy Directorate Under our occupational therapy directors, we support over 185 Occupational Therapists, providing support across the group and specialist interest groups. Each service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence‑based practice and an agreed occupational therapy pathway.
