Operational Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our Chennai team. You will be the backbone of our daily operations — tracking performance, building reporting systems, and keeping cross-functional workflows running smoothly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own end-to-end operational reporting: daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards delivered on time with zero errors Build, maintain, and optimise Excel-based models, trackers, and automated tools for process efficiency Coordinate with internal teams (finance, supply chain, customer ops) to collect, clean, and validate data Create SOPs and process documentation for recurring operations tasks Monitor KPIs and flag deviations to senior stakeholders with clear, actionable insights Support ad-hoc analytical and project management requests from leadership REQUIREMENTS 3months to 1 year of experience in operations, business analysis, or a data-heavy support role Graduate degree in business, engineering, commerce, or a related field Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Excel — candidates may be tested during the interview process Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving Clear written and verbal communication skills in English Comfortable working with large, messy datasets and bringing clarity to them NICE TO HAVE Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho)
