Role Overview TAG is seeking a dynamic and analytically driven professional for the role of Manager – Impact Assessment & Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) to lead and strengthen the organization’s CSR impact assessment and social research vertical. The role involves designing and executing impact assessments, baseline/endline studies, program evaluations, social audits, and MEL frameworks for CSR, ESG, NGO, and development sector projects across multiple thematic areas. The ideal candidate should possess strong research, analytical, stakeholder management, and report-writing capabilities along with an understanding of CSR compliance and social development ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities Impact Assessment & Evaluation Lead end-to-end execution of CSR impact assessment projects. Design methodologies, evaluation frameworks, logical frameworks (LogFrames), and theory of change models. Conduct baseline, midline, endline, and third-party assessments.

Develop qualitative and quantitative research tools including surveys, questionnaires, FGDs, and KIIs. Analyze program outcomes, social return indicators, and beneficiary impact metrics. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Develop and implement MEL systems for client projects.

Define KPIs, output-outcome indicators, and data collection mechanisms. Ensure timely monitoring and evaluation of projects against agreed targets. Build dashboards, scorecards, and reporting formats for clients and internal teams.

Capture learnings, case studies, and best practices for continuous improvement. Research & Reporting Prepare comprehensive impact assessment reports, executive summaries, and presentation decks. Conduct sectoral research related to CSR, ESG, SDGs, livelihoods, education, healthcare, skilling, environment, etc.

Generate insights and recommendations for program improvement and strategic interventions. Ensure high-quality documentation aligned with client and statutory expectations. Client & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with CSR teams, NGOs, implementation partners, field investigators, and government stakeholders.

Participate in client meetings, proposal discussions, and project review sessions. Support business development through technical inputs in proposals and presentations. Field Operations & Compliance Plan and supervise field visits and data validation exercises.

Ensure ethical data collection and adherence to research standards. Maintain proper documentation and compliance related to CSR assessment projects. Desired Candidate Profile Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Management, Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, or related fields. 7+ years of experience in CSR impact assessment, MEL, social research, consulting, or development sector projects.

Strong understanding of CSR ecosystem, SDGs, and social development indicators. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, SPSS, KoboToolbox, Google Forms, etc. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel for field assessments and stakeholder engagements.
