Position Details Position Title: Senior Consultant - Government Advisory - Digital Transformation Number of Positions: 01 Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Reporting To: Senior Consultant / Engagement Manager Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 10+ Years Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Data Science, Engineering, Public Policy, Management, Economics, or related disciplines may apply for this position. Master's Degree (Preferred/Advantageous): Candidates with an M.Tech/M.E., MCA, MBA, MPP, MPA, or other relevant postgraduate qualifications in Digital Transformation, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology Management, Public Policy, or related disciplines will be preferred. Additional preference will be given to candidates possessing: Certifications in digital transformation, product management, cloud technologies, or enterprise architecture.
Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, IT service management, cybersecurity, data analytics, or business analysis. Experience with government digital systems, e-governance, and public service delivery platforms. Membership of recognised professional bodies in technology, analytics, or management.
Specialized qualifications in AI, automation, data governance, cyber resilience, or digital public infrastructure Relevant Work Experience Candidates with 10+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation, technology advisory, e-governance, business process improvement, IT-enabled service delivery, data-driven governance, or large-scale public sector technology projects are eligible to apply for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in: Digital transformation strategy and implementation. E-governance and public sector technology programmes.
Business process reengineering and service delivery redesign. Data analytics, dashboards, and performance monitoring. Technology policy, platform advisory, and systems integration.
Citizen-centric service delivery and digital adoption initiatives. Change management, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement. Digital public infrastructure and emerging technology implementation.
Experience across government, public sector, consulting, technology services, or development organisations will be an added advantage. Role Overview The Senior Consultant - Government Advisory - Digital Transformation will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across digital governance, technology-enabled service delivery, process redesign, and public sector transformation assignments. The role requires strong analytical, strategic, and implementation capabilities, along with the ability to engage effectively with government departments, technology partners, implementation agencies, and key stakeholders.
The selected candidate will support assignments involving digital strategy, e-governance, systems design, implementation support, data-driven decision-making, and institutional transformation. Roles & Responsibilities Digital Advisory & Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership on digital transformation assignments involving technology strategy, digital governance, service redesign, and implementation planning. Digital Strategy & Transformation Roadmaps Develop and review digital transformation roadmaps, technology adoption frameworks, implementation plans, and operating models for government departments and public institutions.
Process Reengineering & Service Design Assess existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and support business process reengineering to improve efficiency, transparency, responsiveness, and citizen experience. Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring Support development of dashboards, MIS systems, monitoring frameworks, and analytics tools to strengthen evidence-based decision-making and service tracking. E-Governance & Technology Implementation Advise on design, implementation, integration, and scaling of digital platforms, online services, workflow systems, and public-facing technology solutions.
Technology Due Diligence & Assessment Conduct assessments of digital systems, technology solutions, automation opportunities, platform readiness, and implementation risks for public sector initiatives. Policy & Government Advisory Support government departments and public institutions on digital policy, platform architecture, governance models, interoperability, digital inclusion, and technology-led reforms. Stakeholder Engagement Engage with government officials, technology vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and end users to support project design and execution.
Capacity Building & Knowledge Transfer Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing programmes on digital tools, system usage, process adoption, and change management. Data, Systems & Reporting Prepare and review technical reports, concept notes, implementation briefs, dashboard outputs, and executive presentations related to digital transformation initiatives. Field Assessments & Implementation Support Support site visits, user consultations, process observations, system testing, and implementation reviews across project locations.
Additional Project Responsibilities Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Engagement Manager or Senior Leadership in alignment with project requirements and organisational priorities. Skills Digital Transformation : Strong understanding of digital strategy, service redesign, technology adoption, and public sector transformation. E-Governance & Systems Thinking : Ability to assess digital ecosystems, workflow systems, and government service delivery models.
Data Analytics & Reporting : Experience in dashboards, performance tracking, analytics, and evidence-based decision support. Process Improvement : Capability to identify inefficiencies and design practical, scalable process improvements. Technical Advisory & Due Diligence : Ability to assess technology options, implementation risks, and operational feasibility.
Technical Report Writing : Strong capability in preparing concept notes, technical assessments, reports, and executive presentations. Stakeholder Management : Ability to engage effectively with government officials, technology teams, vendors, consultants, and implementation partners. Competencies Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate complex digital challenges and develop practical transformation solutions.
Analytical Excellence: Strong capability to analyse process, technology, operational, and performance information for informed decision-making.
