Job Description

Our client, one of Canada's leading financial institutions, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract supporting enterprise Finance systems initiatives. This role will focus on business analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and testing activities for strategic SAP and PeopleSoft Finance projects . The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams to deliver finance transformation and system enhancement initiatives.

This is a hybrid opportunity (onsite Wednesday, Thursday, and every 4th Friday) with potential for extension or long-term opportunity. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements. • Facilitate discussions between business and technology teams to define and validate solutions. • Analyze business needs and recommend technology solutions based on impact and feasibility. • Create and maintain requirements documentation, process flows, meeting notes, and change requests. • Support project delivery activities and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across business and technical teams. • Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and support QA execution activities. • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to successful project implementation. Must-Have Requirements • 8–10+ years of Business Analysis experience within technology delivery environments. • Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements. • Experience working within Finance or Financial Systems environments. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience facilitating discussions between business and technology teams. • Ability to analyze business problems and recommend effective solutions. • Hands-on QA testing experience, including test planning and execution. • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and SDLC.

Nice-to-Have • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (FICO, MDG, Group Reporting) and/or PeopleSoft Financials. • Knowledge of accounting and finance processes. • Banking or financial services industry experience. • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs. • Previous experience as a QA Lead.
