Senior Research Analyst – Leveraged Finance / High Yield Portfolio – Mumbai – 4 to 6 Years Summary We are looking for experienced credit risk professionals with strong exposure to Leveraged Finance and High Yield portfolio monitoring within global banking captives, credit risk consulting firms, or investment research setups. The role requires hands-on expertise in credit assessment, financial modelling, valuations, and portfolio surveillance for global clients. Candidates with exposure to leveraged lending guidelines, review & challenge processes, and financial statement analysis will be preferred.

Your Future Employer A globally recognized analytics and risk advisory organization known for working with leading international financial institutions and offering strong learning exposure across structured finance, leveraged lending, and global credit risk portfolios.

Responsibilities Handling High Yield and Leveraged Finance portfolio monitoring for global clients. Preparing detailed credit assessment reports covering business and financial risk analysis. Developing and updating financial models, valuation models, and financial projections.

Conducting detailed analysis of capital structure, leverage profile, liquidity, and cash flow assessment. Reviewing and monitoring assigned sector portfolios and portfolio companies. Presenting credit recommendations and portfolio reviews to internal stakeholders and committees.

Evaluating covenant structures and recommending suitable protective clauses in credit agreements. Engaging with global client teams to discuss portfolio reviews, workflow updates, and risk observations. Supporting review and challenge activities within credit risk and portfolio surveillance functions.

Mentoring junior analysts and supporting team development initiatives. Requirements 4–6 years of experience in Credit Risk, Credit Research, Leveraged Finance, or High Yield portfolio monitoring. Mandatory experience in handling global portfolios within banking captives, global capability centers, or international financial institutions.

Strong understanding of Leveraged Lending, High Yield instruments, and portfolio surveillance processes. Hands-on experience in financial modelling, valuations, financial spreading, and credit analysis. Exposure to review & challenge functions and credit risk monitoring frameworks.

Strong understanding of capital structure analysis, liquidity assessment, leverage metrics, and cash flow analysis. Familiarity with SNC and leveraged lending guidelines will be an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-facing exposure.

Proficiency in MS Excel, financial analysis tools, and presentation preparation. MBA, CA, CFA, or Master’s degree preferred. Early joiners or candidates with notice period up to 30 days preferred.
