Assistant Manager | The Clam
Location: West Village, NYC

Schedule: 50 hours per week over five days

The Clam, of Blackfoot Hospitality's West Village restaurants, seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to support daily operations, lead front of house service, and uphold exceptional hospitality standards.

Responsibilities: Lead dining room service, manage guest relations and reservations, and provide Maître d’ coverage as needed. Assist with payroll, scheduling, training, and staff performance while maintaining a professional, supportive workplace. Support daily administration, menu and POS updates, accurate payment and cash handling, maintenance coordination, and health and safety compliance.

Qualifications: Seafood restaurant experience and previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required. Deep wine knowledge and a passion for hospitality required. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage busy service calmly and effectively.
