About the role

The Site Digital Lead is responsible for driving digital transformation across the manufacturing site, leading the adoption of digital technologies that improve productivity, quality, safety, compliance, and sustainability. Working closely with site and global teams across Digital, IT, Engineering, and Supply, the role delivers scalable digital manufacturing solutions, including MES, Industrial IoT, automation, and data analytics. The Site Digital Lead owns the site's digital roadmap, ensuring solutions are implemented securely, sustainably, and in line with global standards while supporting Reckitt's Industry 4.0 ambitions.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the site's digital transformation roadmap, driving adoption of technologies that support Industry 4.0, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver and optimise digital manufacturing solutions, including MES, Industrial IoT, analytics, automation, and connected worker technologies.
• Enable seamless OT/IT integration, ensuring reliable data connectivity, system performance, cybersecurity, and alignment with global standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Supply, IT, and Digital teams to identify opportunities and deliver technology-enabled business outcomes.
• Champion a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics to improve performance, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure digital solutions meet applicable regulatory, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements. 

The experience we're looking for

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, engineering, and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of OT/IT integration architectures and industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, and related technologies.
• Understanding of edge computing, cloud platforms, and industrial IoT ecosystems.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI and similar platforms.
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies including predictive maintenance, machine learning applications, digital twins, and smart factory solutions.

Leadership & Business Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven project and programme delivery capability across multiple initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading change management and user adoption activities.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical operational solutions.
• Hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on standardization, delivery, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

 

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles within manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
