The Alternative Investment Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact between Brainvest's investments and operations teams, internal relationship managers, and external parties on all operational matters. Core responsibilities include coordinating subscription processes between internal teams and fund managers, maintaining ongoing communication with offshore alternative investment fund managers, and ensuring that pricing and cash flows of private investments are accurately reflected across internal systems.
The role also encompasses the full investment lifecycle: sourcing and executing new opportunities across private credit, real estate, private equity, venture capital, and other illiquid assets, conducting due diligence, providing support in investment structuring, preparing and presenting investment committee materials, and customizing offering and marketing materials. On an ongoing basis, the Analyst will monitor Brainvest's existing alternative investment portfolio developing and refining metrics and analytics to assess performance and identify new opportunities. Additional responsibilities include reporting, developing automation projects, and contributing to client-facing materials covering portfolio updates, performance, and changes in investment strategy.
- Location: São Paulo, SP
- Languages: Native or Fluency proficiency in English and Portuguese are required; Spanish will be considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate subscription processes and operational workflows between internal teams, fund managers, and external parties;
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting of Brainvest's alternative investment portfolio, including pricing and cash flow accuracy in internal systems;
- Assist in sourcing, due diligence, and execution of alternative investment opportunities across private credit, infrastructure, real estate, private equity, and venture capital;
- Contribute to investment committee materials, offering documents, and client-facing materials covering portfolio updates and performance;
- Develop automation projects and analytics to improve team efficiency and investment assessment.
Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience across the full investment cycle (sourcing, analysis, and operational execution);
- Experience in automating complex tasks and workflows;
- Prior experience with alternative investments/private markets is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Ability and openness to understanding the operational, accounting, and legal aspects of investments;
- Written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese;
- Familiarity with offshore jurisdictions a plus (Cayman, BVI, Delaware, Luxembourg).
