Accountant

Job DescriptionOur client is a long-established and highly regarded Chartered Accountancy practice based in North Dublin. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, they are now seeking an ambitious Accountant to join their growing team. Responsibilities: Preparation of year-end financial statements for a portfolio of audit-exempt clients.

Managing outsourced accounting engagements, including bookkeeping, management accounts, and client reporting. Preparing and submitting VAT, PAYE, and other statutory compliance returns. Building strong client relationships while delivering high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

Requirements: Part-qualified ACA/ACCA Minimum 3 years experience within an Irish practice environment is essential Strong experience working with audit-exempt companies Exposure to an outsourcing/accounts department with responsibility for managing multiple client assignments Ability to work independently and take ownership of client portfolios Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary of €45,000 - €48,000 DOE Flexible working hours Pension contribution 20 days annual leave Exam fees and support On-site parking facilities Regular company social events Excellent exposure to a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients Supportive and collaborative working environment Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities Flexible and friendly workplace culture This role would suit a practice-trained accountant looking to further develop their career within a progressive firm where they can make an immediate impact and work closely with a diverse client base.
