Our client is a highly respected, three-partner Chartered Accountancy practice based in County Meath. For over 30 years, they have built an impressive and diverse database of clients, providing top-tier audit, non-audit, and sole trader accountancy services across a wide range of industries and sectors.
As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a dedicated Audit Administrator to join their accounts services team. This is a brilliant opportunity to embed yourself in a structured, friendly environment that offers exceptional work-life balancewith the flexibility to undertake the role on either a full-time or part-time basis (34 days per week). Audit File Preparation & Management Prepare audit packs and working paper files Ensure files are complete, correctly indexed, and aligned with firm templates Upload, organise, and archive client documentation in line with firm procedure Perform file housekeeping post-audit (finalisation, archiving, version control) Perform basic audit testing under supervision Assist with data entry and population of audit working papers Follow up on outstanding items from clients Assist with time and billing administration where required Provide ad hoc administrative support to managers Support audit team with projects such as implementation of new systems or processes Qualifications & Experience: 2+ years of general accounting practice experience Knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build professional relationships and be confident in client interactions Team player Highly efficient and proactive Strong attention to detail CCH Accounts Production Excel (Intermediate) DRIVE (Practice Management and client database) Virtual Cabinet (Document Management System) Sage Line 50 (most common client accounting system) Microsoft Suite Omnipro Working Papers Package: Salary €35,000-€40,000 (Pro Rata) 10 % bonus Hybrid working and early finish on Fridays Flexible working hours Paid study and exam leave Full coverage of course fees Skills: Administrator Audit Data Entry TPBN1_IJ
