Job Description

Ant International is a global leader in digital payments and financial technology, dedicated to connecting the world through inclusive and innovative solutions. As we expand our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) footprint in Brazil, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Collections Operations Lead to build, scale, and optimize our local operations—with a roadmap to extend coverage across Latin America (including Mexico).

The Role

This is a high-impact, founding role within our Brazil collections team. You won't just manage existing processes—you will build them from the ground up. You will drive end-to-end execution across strategy deployment, BPO management, regulatory compliance, and cutting-edge AI tool integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Operations: Design and execute the full-cycle collections strategy for BNPL in Brazil, from early-stage reminders to late-stage recovery.
  • AI & Tech Innovation: Lead the evaluation, testing, and deployment of AI-driven collection solutions (conversational AI, smart dialers) and multi-channel communications (WhatsApp, Voice, SMS, RCS).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly align with local laws and regulations (LGPD, BACEN, Consumer Protection Code).
  • Data Analytics & Performance: Track core KPIs (Contact, PTP, Cure, Roll, and Recovery rates), build customer segmentation models, and continuously optimize treatment strategies.
  • BPO & Partner Management: Select, onboard, and manage local BPO vendors, ensuring high performance standards and operational alignment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Credit Risk to feed post-loan insights back into underwriting models.
  • Regional Expansion: Scale operational frameworks to support future collections setup in Mexico and other LATAM markets.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have:

  • Fintech/Scale-up Experience: Proven track record in collections operations within leading Fintechs or high-growth consumer credit platforms in LATAM (e.G., 99, Shopee, Nubank, Mercado Pago).
  • Deep Local Market Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Brazil’s collections landscape, BPO ecosystem, consumer behavior, and financial regulations (LGPD, BACEN).
  • End-to-End Ownership: Hands-on experience spanning strategy design, tool implementation, analytics, and vendor management.
  • Fluent English: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fields.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Spanish proficiency to support expansion into Spanish-speaking LATAM markets.
  • Direct experience implementing AI voice/chatbots or intelligent dialers.
  • Experience working in multinational or cross-border Fintech environments.
  • Practical SQL or data analysis skills.
