Position: Spanish/English Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner (Must Be Able to See Newborn Patients)
Location: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Flushing, or Staten Island, NY
Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
Job Summary:
Seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients across the lifespan, including newborns. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications as permitted, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an outpatient setting.
- Assess and manage newborn patients.
- Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
- Educate patients and families on preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Spanish/English bilingual proficiency required.
- Ability to independently see and assess newborn patients.
- Outpatient clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Work authorization required.
