This is a transformation leadership role. The successful candidate will not simply manage an existing Supply Chain structure but will build and mature the function, establishing the planning disciplines, governance, processes, and operational capabilities required to support the companys long-term growth.
A central priority of the role will be to create the Production Planning and Control function from the ground up and lead the reimplementation and ongoing governance of MRP. The position will also be responsible for Procurement, Warehouse and Inventory Management, the Quality Management System, and Invoicing.
The role will work in close partnership with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, global teams to improve operational reliability, customer service, inventory performance, and execution discipline.
Product Quality Control will remain under Manufacturing.
- Build and lead an integrated Supply Chain organization.
- Define the operating model, roles, responsibilities, governance, and management routines for the function.
- Develop a capable, collaborative, and performance-oriented team.
- Establish clear Supply Chain KPIs and ensure consistent review of performance.
- Promote accountability, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support the professionalization and continued development of the São Paulo operation.
- Design, implement, and lead the companys Production Planning and Control function.
- Reimplement and own the MRP process, including parameters, master data, planning policies, governance, and operating routines.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of planning inputs, including bills of materials, lead times, inventory records, order policies, and production data.
- Develop production planning, material planning, scheduling, and capacity planning processes.
- Establish short-, medium-, and long-term planning routines.
- Align customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and delivery commitments.
- Create planning dashboards, KPIs, and regular performance reviews.
- Improve visibility of material shortages, production constraints, and delivery risks.
- Support the future development of demand planning and S&OP capabilities.
- Ensure that planning processes are fully integrated with Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance.
- Lead strategic and operational Procurement activities.
- Develop and implement supplier management processes.
- Improve supplier delivery, quality, cost, and lead-time performance.
- Establish supplier performance indicators and review routines.
- Support sourcing, negotiation, and supplier development initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks.
- Improve purchasing processes, controls, and ERP discipline.
- Ensure alignment with DwyerOmegas corporate Procurement strategies and policies.
- Develop reliable relationships with key suppliers while maintaining appropriate governance and commercial discipline.
- Lead Warehouse and Inventory Management activities.
- Improve inventory accuracy, control, visibility, and traceability.
- Establish cycle counting and inventory reconciliation programs.
- Define and monitor inventory policies, safety stocks, reorder points, and planning parameters.
- Reduce stockouts, excess inventory, obsolete inventory, and material shortages.
- Improve receiving, storage, picking, material movement, and internal logistics processes.
- Ensure appropriate material availability to support production and customer delivery requirements.
- Strengthen warehouse organization, controls, documentation, and operational discipline.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing to improve material flow and production support.
- Lead the companys Quality Management System.
- Maintain and strengthen ISO certifications and related management system requirements.
- Coordinate internal, external, and certification audits.
- Lead corrective and preventive action processes.
- Maintain document control, procedures, records, and system governance.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and quality system actions.
- Promote continuous improvement and process compliance across the organization.
- Develop quality system indicators and management review routines.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Product Quality Control while preserving clear accountability between system governance and product inspection.
- Lead Invoicing activities and related administrative processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Improve the integration between order execution, production completion, shipment, and invoicing.
- Monitor and address invoicing delays, process failures, and documentation issues.
- Support improved customer delivery performance and revenue conversion.
- Establish clear accountability and process controls across the order-to-cash interface.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure effective order fulfillment.
- Act as the business owner for Supply Chain processes within the ERP environment.
- Lead the optimization of ERP usage across Planning, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Quality Systems, and Invoicing.
- Ensure the quality, completeness, and governance of Supply Chain master data.
- Partner with IT and external system providers to resolve system issues and improve functionality.
- Reduce dependence on manual controls, spreadsheets, and informal processes.
- Develop reliable operational reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Support system integration, process standardization, and digitalization initiatives.
- Ensure that ERP processes accurately reflect the companys operational model.
- Identify and lead improvement opportunities across the end-to-end Supply Chain.
- Standardize processes and eliminate unnecessary variation.
- Support Lean, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve process flow, lead times, responsiveness, and execution reliability.

- Build a highly collaborative partnership with Manufacturing.
- Align Planning, Procurement, Inventory, Quality Systems, and Invoicing with production requirements and customer commitments.
- Work closely with Engineering to improve bills of materials, routings, technical data, and product readiness.
- Partner with Sales to improve visibility of demand, backlog, priorities, and delivery commitments.
- Partner with Finance on inventory, working capital, costing, invoicing, and controls.
- Partner with Human Resources on organization design, team development, performance management, and change implementation.
- Collaborate effectively with DwyerOmegas global Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and IT teams.
- Influence across functions and organizational levels without relying solely on direct authority.
- Facilitate decisions, resolve conflicts, and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
- Establish a formal and effective Production Planning and Control function.

Requisitos desejados: Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- MBA, postgraduate degree, or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Portuguese fluency is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or redesigning Production Planning and Control processes.
- Strong practical experience with MRP implementation, reimplementation, governance, and optimization.
- Experience leading Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory Management, and material planning activities.
- Experience with ERP implementation, optimization, or business process ownership.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, preferably ISO 9001.
- Experience leading process transformation and organizational change.
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
- Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, engineered products, or similar environments is desirable.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, QAD, TOTVS, Mega, or comparable ERP systems is desirable.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and S&OP is preferred.
