Data Analyst

Job DescriptionI'm currently recruiting a data analyst role based in Dublin. This is an initial 6-month contract, focusing on hybrid working. Strong day rate available.

About the role Design and develop high-quality Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. Build and optimise semantic models, DAX measures and interactive visualisations using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing reporting solutions.

Requirements Proven commercial experience developing and supporting Power BI dashboards, with strong Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query and semantic modelling skills. Advanced T-SQL experience, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, views and stored procedures. Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric or a comparable cloud analytics platform, alongside strong understanding of dimensional modelling and reporting architecture.

Desirable Previous technical experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Factory pipelines and Spark notebooks. Knowledge of metadata-driven ETL and configuration-based data processing. Experience within financial services, insurance, or another data-intensive environment.
