Warehouse Storeperson

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Store person to join our Hallam team.

This is a hands-on role involving warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch, forklift operation, and light machinery use. A significant part of the role involves operating a high-reach forklift within racking systems, making current high-reach experience essential.

Please note: A current Forklift Licence (LF) and proven high-reach forklift experience are mandatory requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock
• Replenish warehouse stock locations
• Safely operate forklifts, including high-reach forklifts
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate light machinery used in the preparation of customer orders
• Measure and chop picture frame moulding to customer specifications as part of our pre-production Chop Service
• Conduct stocktakes and assist with inventory control
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Previous warehouse / storeperson experience
• Experience working with warehouse racking systems
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks
• Reliable, self-motivated and team oriented
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Experience operating light manufacturing or warehouse machinery
• Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems
• Previous experience in a timber, framing, manufacturing or production environment
