Role Overview


As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important part in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing materials while keeping stock records accurate and the warehouse organized. This is a hands-on role with both physical and administrative responsibilities.


What will you do?



  • Coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities with the warehouse supervisor.

  • Receive shipments, process goods receipt, and verify materials against documentation.

  • Support picking, packing, and the distribution of goods and materials.

  • Record incoming and outgoing goods accurately and maintain warehouse documentation.

  • Carry out daily housekeeping and basic warehouse maintenance to keep the area clean and orderly.

  • Perform periodic inventory cycle counts and update stock levels.

  • Prepare and maintain systematic filing, records, and supporting documentation.

  • Communicate by email with buyers, customer service, and forwarders when needed.

  • Support ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.

  • You will take ownership of your work with accountability, safety, and integrity, making sure goods and records are handled correctly.

  • You will stay close to the daily work, focus on the most important tasks, and help remove small obstacles before they become delays.

  • You will look for practical improvements in warehouse routines, use clear communication, and approach issues with candor and problem-solving.

  • You will work as one team with your supervisor, buyers, customer service, and forwarders to keep materials moving smoothly.

  • You will keep the warehouse organized, traceable, and ready for safe operations by following established processes consistently.


What are we looking for?



  • Accurate and detail-oriented approach to daily work.

  • Enjoy working in a warehouse environment and handling hands-on tasks.

  • Ability to carry loads up to 25 kg.

  • Forklift driving license.

  • Forklift, reach truck, or stacker driving skills.

  • Comfortable maintaining documentation and updating records carefully.

  • Basic communication skills for working with internal teams and external contacts.


Nice to Have



  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related role.

  • Experience with SAP or Baan systems.

  • Familiarity with goods receipt, picking, packing, and cycle counting processes.

  • Willingness to learn new things and contribute as a team player.
