Armor Australia is an established and leading designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge ballistic protection systems. We are an exciting and fast-growing organisation serving both domestic and export markets, including government, law enforcement, military, and other security sectors to support personal, platform and infrastructure protection requirements.

The position.

Our finance team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of the day to day finance functions. This is a hands-on role responsible for the daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Asset Management, General ledger reconciliations, BAS and IAS preparation and monthly reporting. Main Responsibilities.

Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable subledgers.

Tax Compliance - ATO Lodgments, BAS, IAS, FBT and income tax preparation.

Preparation of Standing Journals for pre-payments and accruals.

Undertake General Ledger Reconciliation, including Bank Reconciliations.

Fixed Asset management - calculate tax depreciation and capital allowance.

Superannuation, Workers Compensation and Payroll Tax.

Intercompany Loan Accounts.

Support the preparation of Sales quotations and customer invoices.

Ad hoc Tasks and special projects as required.

Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, and procedures.

Qualifications & experience.

Must be degree qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Strong understanding of Australian Tax Office Compliance.

Proficiency in ERP accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel, Pronto experience is desirable.

Excellent analytical, problem solving and good verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, attention to detail.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.
