Finance Specialist (Invoicing)

Position: Finance Specialist - Invoicing (US, UK & Canada)

Location: Pune

\n

Shift Time: 6:30PM-3:30AM IST (US Shift)

\n

Employment Type: Full Time/Onsite role

\n

Stratacent is looking for a finance professional with strong experience in client invoicing, accounts receivable, and billing operations, preferably in an IT services / IT staffing environment. The role focuses on managing end-to-end invoicing cycles, collections, and financial accuracy.

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

Manage end-to-end client invoicing and billing cycles

\n

Generate invoices based on timesheets / billable hours / contracts

\n

Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) including collections and follow-ups

\n

Perform reconciliations (bank, customer accounts, invoices)

\n

Track outstanding payments, aging reports, and resolve discrepancies

\n

Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams (HR/Delivery/Payroll)

\n

Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks / similar tools

\n

Support month-end close and reporting activities

\n

Required:

\n

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
\n

Must Have:

\n

Experience in client invoicing / billing (AR side)

\n

Exposure to timesheet-based invoicing / contract billing

\n

Background in IT services / IT staffing / KPO (US accounting)

\n

Hands-on with QuickBooks / similar tools

\n

Good communication for client interaction and follow-ups

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Bookkeeper designation (e.g., AIPB or NACPB) is a plus.
\n
